Brian Hungarr

I'm pretty fond of this character. He's been in the works for a really long while now, so I'm glad to finally finish designing him ^^ For some reason, my mind kept changing his last name to "Eatarr,' but I don't like that name as much o-o Darn mind

He was heavily inspired by Voltaire songs (namely [link] and [link]) and partially inspired by the computer game King's Quest 7

As for the first song, when I first heard Brains, it made me want to make a friendly, nice character, who eats brains, but is in no way evil, crazy, or ...undead? I immediately realized you could turn "brain" into "Brian", which gave me the name (a little while later I gave him the last name so his name would be like "brain hunger"). I then just started drawing and came up with a design a lot like this one, but slightly different. His original snout, and these ears were somewhat inspired by the trolls in King's Quest 7, but his ponytail was the biggest feature that I got from the game. There's a troll blacksmith (who constantly flirts with the player XD) with an awesome ponytail.
The second song gave me the idea to make him have a removable head, which I thought could make his character more fun. Pretty much because I thought it would be funny to have him occasionally (literally) lose his head, like what happens from 3:06 to the end of the song.

I was doodling him at school once, and people kept asking if he was "a fox, or wolf, or something." Blaughrarugh! I'm not THAT bad at drawing foxes! My foxes don't look like this at all!

Onto his little character bio thing.
Hungarr's neck fur is made up of tiny hooks and loops, very similar to velcro, which allows him to remove and reattach his head. His main brain is actually located in his chest, next to his heart, which is good, because his brain doesn't get damaged when he tosses his head around. However, he does have a very small brain in his head, which is only used so his main-brain can telepathically control his removed head.
Hungarr keeps his bright red mane tied in a ponytail so that it doesn't get in the way of eating brains, because getting brain bits out of such thick, long hair is not easy.

Soo... yeah! That's that (this was the longest description I've ever made). He's really fun to draw, and I don't typically suggest drawing my characters (even though I'm fine with it), I'd actually like to see some people's renditions of this guy XD
